Stephanie moore, owner & director

Stephanie began her dance training at the age of four locally. By her teens she began competitive dance training, assisting dance classes and eventually began her experience as a dance instructor at her childhood studio.

Stephanie expanded her dance training in the Burncoat High School Dance Department program under the instruction of Joan Sheary. Her years in high school were sprinkled with national performances that took her to from the coast to coast across the United States. After graduating high school Stephanie continued her training and dance education at Dean College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A in Dance and a minor in Business Management. There she studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Tap as well as Dance History, Kinesiology and Pedagogy. She participated in student and program showcases, as well as being part of mulitple dance teams on campus.

During and after her time in college, Stephanie instructed at local dance studios and choreographed competitively and recreationally. Only a year after graduation Stephanie decided to open her very own studio with the following of her most dedicated students and parents. She proudly opened her studio, DanceSpaceStudios, in the summer of 2011.

Stephanie's choreography and students have been recognized regionally through competitive performance. Her pieces have won acknowledgement and her students have been award scholarships and awards for their talent and performances. DanceSpace Alumni have gone on to perform with their college teams and enroll in their college dance programs.

Aside from her work with the studio she also spends time doing professional costuming for her students and dancers all over the U.S. She is married to her high school sweetheart and a mom to two little boys. Sharing her life long passion for dance and the performing arts is what keeps her motivated and the reward of seeing her dancers accomplish goals they once thought impossible is the very best part of her job.
